Please read the following disclaimer carefully before proceeding with your application. By submitting your business plan and selecting a pitching time slot, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.

**1. Application and Approval Process**
- **Business Plan Submission**: All applicants are required to upload a detailed business plan for review by the HPESOJ Group committee. The business plan should include, but is not limited to, the following: executive summary, market analysis, product/service description, financial projections, and funding requirements.
- **Committee Review**: The HPESOJ Group committee will review all submitted business plans to ensure they meet the forum’s standards and align with the event’s objectives. Submission of a business plan does not guarantee approval to pitch at the forum.
- **Approval Notification**: If your application is approved, you will receive a confirmation email from the HPESOJ Group committee. This email will include instructions on how to proceed with payment for your selected pitching time slot.

**2. Pitching Time Slots and Fees**
- **Time Slot Options**: Applicants may choose from the following pitching time slots:
- **15-Minute Session**: $675
- **30-Minute Session**: $975
- **1-Hour Private Session**: $3,500
- **Payment Requirement**: Payment must be made in full upon receiving approval and payment instructions. Your pitching slot will only be confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
- **Non-Refundable Policy**: All payments are non-refundable, regardless of attendance or any unforeseen circumstances. By submitting payment, you acknowledge and accept this policy.

**3. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality**
- **Intellectual Property**: The HPESOJ Group respects the intellectual property rights of all participants. However, by submitting your business plan and participating in the pitching sessions, you acknowledge that the HPESOJ Group, its affiliates, and other forum participants cannot be held responsible for the protection of your intellectual property. It is your responsibility to ensure that your business plan and pitch materials do not disclose sensitive or proprietary information without proper safeguards.
- **Confidentiality**: While the HPESOJ Group will make reasonable efforts to maintain the confidentiality of your business plan, we cannot guarantee that other forum participants or third parties will not use or disclose information shared during the pitching sessions. We recommend that you consult with legal counsel to determine the appropriate level of detail to include in your pitch.

---**4. No Guarantee of Investment**
- **Investment Outcomes**: Participation in the pitching sessions does not guarantee that you will secure investment or funding. The HPESOJ Group will act as an intermediary, broker, or agent in investment transactions. Any discussions or agreements reached between participants and investors are solely the responsibility of the involved parties.
- **Due Diligence**: Investors are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence before making any investment decisions. The HPESOJ Group is not responsible for the outcomes of any investment discussions or transactions.

**5. Forum Participation**
- **Code of Conduct**: All participants are expected to adhere to the forum’s code of conduct, which promotes professionalism, respect, and integrity. The HPESOJ Group reserves the right to remove any participant who violates these principles.
- **Changes to Schedule**: The HPESOJ Group reserves the right to make changes to the forum schedule, including pitching sessions, without prior notice. In the event of such changes, participants will be notified as soon as possible.
